This is a traditional goal in all Zelda game and with good reason – the more you have, the more penalties the Link may incur. In both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, they take on another importance, with games requiring you to hit a certain amount of money before you can get to certain areas or acquire powerful items.
