Fury-Whyte Undercard Results: Tommy Fury Decides Daniel Bocianski
By: Sean Crose
WBC heavyweight and linear heavyweight champion Tyson Fury’s younger brother Tommy took part in a six-round light heavyweight bout against Daniel Bocianski 10-1 Saturday at Wembley Stadium. “Jake Paul is sitting at home and laughing,” said pay-per-view commentator Tim Bradley for a good part during the match, as it was a less amusing affair. Fury was, after all, seen as a potential rival to Paul. However, as Bradley pointed out, the social media star thinks boxer Paul might be the best man.
However, Fury dominated Bocianski from the start. A straight punch in the second round injured Bocianski, while Fury combined his punches in the third round, and landed hard into his body again before the round was over. While Bocianski tried unsuccessfully to maintain distance, he started bleeding in the fifth inning. Fury knocked out his man in the same round, but Bocianski got up again. It does not matter. Fury was able to dominate in the sixth and final round on the way to victory as determined by the referee.
