Case after instance of clocks set with tourbillons and many complications that testify to decades of watchmaking with a distinctive style, often integrated in the brand’s signature Cintrée Curvex-shaped case.
But Franck Muller is much more than a series of Master Bankers, grand tourbillons, and jowl Models. Few watchmakers can match the wide range fluency that the brand also exhibits year after year with gem set collections.
Franck Muller paired it again Skill with its gem design expertise with the release of the new Double Mysterious Peony, which combines the gem design and its enchanting Double Mystery time display system.
In the Double Mystery collection, Franck Muller replaces the hands of the watch with two rotating discs, each with an arrow-shaped hand. Patented in 1998, this technique allowed Franck Muller to experiment by placing a band of colorful gemstones on and on top of two spinning discs.
In this latest Double Mystery Peony, Franck Muller places 662 colored diamonds and gemstones (4.87 carats) on each dial, all with shapes and patterns on the dial to recall the same blooms. Name. The watches, powered by automatic movements spearheaded with the Double Mystery complex, are offered in white and yellow gold along with 42mm and 39mm cases. Price: $88,700
