Earlier, Raina’s decision to retire from international cricket in 2020 came minutes after Dhoni said “pretend I’m retired” on his Instagram page. “So lovely to play with you, @mahi7781. With a heart filled with pride, I choose to join you on this journey. Thank you India. Jai Hind,” Raina posted on her Instagram page.
The 35-year-old is one of the few who have scored centuries across formats and he has played 18 Tests, 226 ODIs and 78 T20 Internationals with nearly 8000 international runs.

Raina’s best moment in international cricket was the crucial undefeated hit in a tough World Cup quarter-final against Australia in the winning campaign in 2011.
The left-hander was a key member of the Chennai Super Kings until the 2021 edition of the tournament, but the male player failed to sell in the pre-season 2022 auction.
