Square Enix released details on the next February update for FFXI, and it includes an expansion for Mog Wardrobe as well as an increase in the Master Level cap. Additionally, The Voracious Resurgence quests and other content like Abuscade are receiving new rewards and battles. The new update will be released after server maintenance on February 11, 2022.
Owners of the Mog Wardrobe premium service will receive additional wardrobe slots once the update goes live. All players will receive more space to register macros in their macros, as well as increase the number of registerable gear sets. These expansions will also come with a new, improved Mog House menu user interface.
Furthermore, the Master Level cap will be increased from 20 to 30. Square Enix notes that these 10 new levels will require more sample points than the previous levels. Specifically, Matsui mentions that the team can add new locations to grind rather than tweak existing ones.
Finally, Ambuscade is getting new battles on Normal and High Intensity difficulty, as well as new rewards for each. The Normal battle features Corse and the Intensity battle features Taurus. Completing the Ambuscade will reward the player with Corse-themed gear.
