Fantasy WR Leaderboard Week 11: Who Started, sitting in front of a wide lens in fantasy football
We’re getting closer to the fantasy football knockouts and our pre-season speculation has come true – there are always plenty of viable options in the wide receiver. This week, however, a lot of the “possible options” are boys who have been disappointing for part or all of the season. That may make you scoff at our fantasy WR Week 11 rankings, but it’s important to remember that, thanks to matches, injuries, and usage trends, each week brings a bunch of skins. new and marketable.
Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are back to say goodbye, but we lose Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson, Odell Beckham Jr., Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick and Courtland Sutton. Again, the position is deep enough to last as the two teams bid farewell – even if those two teams have some solid receivers between them.
RANKING STANDARD WEEK 11:
Midfielder | Run back | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker
As always, some studs have tough matches, but the likes of Justin Jefferson (vs. Packers), Adam Thielen (vs. Packers), Ja’Marr Chase (@Raiders) and Diontae Johnson (@ Chargers) still have to start (regardless of the Steelers’ QB situation). Michael Pittman (@Bills) and Hunter Renfrow (vs Bengals) are tougher calls, but also hard to sit, especially in PPR tournaments.
WEEK 11 PPR ASSESSMENT:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker
Brandon Aiyuk (@Jaguars), AJ Green and Christian Kirk (@Seahawks), Sterling Shepard, Kadarius Toney and Kenny Golladay (@Buccaneers), Rashod Bateman (@Bears), DeVonta Smith (vs Saints), Darnell Mooney and Allen Robinson (vs. Ravens) have been firmly above the starting bubble or sitting still for most of the week this season. but each has a match with the bottom 10 defense in terms of per-game fantasy points allowed to expand, so include them in your squad. Of course, Shepard’s health will need to be monitored.
Going a little deeper, Michael Gallup (@ Chiefs), Robby Anderson (@ Washington), Marcus Johnson (vs. Texans), Jamal Agnew and Marvin Jones (vs. 49ers), Jakobi Meyers (@ Falcons) and Elijah Moore and Jamison Crowder (vs Dolphins) warrants consideration this week with favorable matches. None of those guys are sure of everything, but if you’re in a bind, they feel like the right options to roll the dice. Meyers and Agnew are better suited for PPR.
Russell Gage (vs Patriots) has let us down a lot this year and we didn’t like his chances against the New England defence, The same can be said for Tyler Boyd (@Raiders) and Marquez Callaway (@ Eagles). Tre’Quan Smith and Deonte Harris actually have more appeal than Callaway right now despite his TD last week. Obviously, there are some points where you might have to play one of these guys, but overall, they’re sub-optimal picks. That also applies to Allen Lazard (@ Vikings) and TY Hilton (@ Bills).
It should be noted that Van Jefferson is still worth sneaking into the future. The Rams are about to say goodbye, but with Robert Woods (knee) gone for the year, Jefferson won’t be completely mitigated by the addition of Odell Beckham Jr. You should always plan for the future beyond the current week. time of year, so keep an eye out for target trends and take advantage of potential discounts by desperate groups.
Note: We’ll be updating these WR charts as needed throughout the week, so check back for the latest changes and analysis.
