Fantasy TE Leaderboard Week 13: Who’s Started, Last Seated in Fantasy Football
Week 13 was a great week to end tight, as no high-level studs stopped working for that reason. Of course, not everyone has the necessary start, so our Week 13 fantasy TE rankings can still help many owners decide who to start in this difficult position.
Again, it didn’t get any nicer with goodbyes, as Tennessee, Cleveland, Green Bay and Carolina took a week off. If you’ve been counting on Austin Hooper, then you’ve probably been tested for the season. However, there will still be some people looking for streamers, so we’re here to help.
WEEK 13 STANDARD RANKING:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | VND / ST | Kicker
Travis Kelce (vs. Broncos) was the only top TE to have a worrisome game, but obviously, the worries don’t apply to him. Dalton Schultz (@Saints) also looks to be in a tough position, but without much of a tight finish with more of an advantage, especially in PPR tournaments.
WEEK 13 PPR RANKING:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker
However, Dawson Knox (vs Patriots) and Hunter Henry (@Bills) are two high-yielding TEs that can practically sit in the pine tree during Week 13, mainly because they tend to “hit or break” property” than Schultz. Matches with two of the strongest defenses imaginable against tight ends might justify sitting them, but you’re better off having some good alternatives. Zach Ertz (vs. Bears) is also suitable for this type of player, but his scoring ability is lower than Knox, Henry and Schultz.
This week’s celebrities include CJ Uzomah (vs Chargers), Evan Engram (@Dolphins), Jack Doyle (@Texans), Foster Moreau (vs Washington) and Tyler Conklin (vs Lions). Uzomah and Engram each face the bottom five against imaginary TEs heading into Week 12, we know Uzomah has the big advantage. The Conklin v Detroit and the Moreau v Washington game aren’t necessarily favorable on paper, but given the steady goals and big play that we’ve seen from both times this year, we’re consider them solid options against a poor passing defence.
In the deep leagues, Mo Allie-Cox (@Texans) and Ryan Griffin (vs. Eagles) are the ones worth considering for their top 3 pairings. Note that we’ve specified “deep tournaments” because neither of these are reliably close, but they are technically sound considerations if you’re forced to choose from the bottom of the bin. Juwan Johnson (vs Cowboys) could also be added to that discussion.
Because there’s no such thing as a goodbye and only one regular starter is dealing with injury (Darren Waller), you shouldn’t have much trouble picking a decent streamer. This is almost like a week without goodbyes, so don’t overthink things.
Note: We’ll be updating these TE leaderboards throughout the week, so check back for the latest player movement and analysis.
