Live in Southern California where we have mild seasons, blink and you’ll miss it, it’s hard to get in low mood. Growing up, going back to school heralded fall for me — I associate autumn with new adhesives and gel pens rather than leaf changes and spiced coffees. Since my last day of school was many moons ago, I had to rely on something else to get me excited about fall: all cozy new clothes.
