[Exclusive] Storm Chris speaks out after acquitting the killer


Good news for Chris ‘Storm Chris’ Dooley. The 34-year-old rapper was not found guilty of fatally shooting Danzeria Farris Jr, 32, in 2020.

A Shreveport grand jury reached a verdict of not guilty on Tuesday night.

In an exclusive statement to Shade roomrapper ‘Halle Berry’ said he is grateful for his family’s support.

Tonight, I am not found guilty of second-degree murder and unlawful possession of stolen goods, he announced.

I want to thank God, my attorneys at Washington & Wells Law Firm, and my family for standing by me when my life was in danger. They wanted to give me life if I was found guilty. Now I can hug my son and think about raising him to be a man,” he expressed.

June 2020 Deadly Shooting

If you recall, a local Louisiana man was shoot and kill in the early morning hours in Shreveport. The shooting is believed to have occurred around 1 a.m. at a Texaco gas station on the 2600 block of Hollywood Boulevard.

The rapper told authorities he shot the deceased in self-defense after struggling with his vehicle. Officers denied his claims after security footage obtained from the gas station showed the opposite.

The ‘A Bay Bay’ rapper also faces charges of illegally possessing stolen goods. The car he was driving at the time of the murder is believed to have been stolen in Texas.
