Greetings from paultan.org Electric Vehicle Exhibition (EVx) 2022will run this weekend at Setia City Convention Center (SCCC). There’s no shortage of things to see and learn about, if you want to discover all about electrification.
Volvo Car Malaysia is one of the participants in this event and the company is showcasing its all-electric vehicle Volvo XC40 Pure Chargerwas well doneme since it is Officially introduced in March.
The XC40 EV is equipped with two electric motors that bring the total system power of 408 PS and 660 Nm. With a 0-100 km/h time of 4.9 seconds, this is the fastest accelerating Volvo SUV currently on sale. The 78 kWh lithium-ion battery provides a range of up to 418 km on a full charge (WLTP cycle).
For charging, the EV supports a maximum AC charging rate of 11 kW (Category 2 connection, cable included), where it will take approximately 7.5 hours for the battery to be fully charged. DC fast charging is also supported, and at up to 150 kW (CCS2 interface), the battery can be brought from 0 to 80% charge in just 33 minutes.
In addition to Volvo, the event will feature displays and products from Petronas, BMW car, Mercedes-Benz, Tesla (via Vision Motor Sports and Zaibar Automobile), Tenaga Nasional, Connect EV, EVhub.my, Exicom, RHBand more.
In addition to being able to view and test drive electric vehicles from various brands, you can also gain insight into the charging infrastructure and commercial solutions available in the market.
The event will also allow you to gather valuable information about electric motors from car manufacturers, ecosystem stakeholders and electric vehicle owners who will be on hand to educate and enlightenment. Indeed, the EVx, open to the public, is the perfect place to learn about what it’s like to buy, own and live with an EV, all under one roof.
