Some California shoppers thinking of a plug-in vehicle or other vehicle business, may need to act soon. Starting February 24, the state is MSRP reduction and income limit for Clean Car Discount Project (CVRP), which allows up to $2,000 for EVs and $1,500 for plug-in hybrids.
Despite plans to build its electric trucks in Georgia, Rivian can’t directly sell them in the state yet—But its franchise laws are changed. Existing franchising laws prevent direct sales in Georgia, though lawmakers have made an exception for Tesla. And there are some similarities to what Tesla faced in Texas.
