European Parliament sacks Vice President Eva Kaili after allegations of corruption in Qatar
Belgian prosecutors have arrested four people for allegedly taking bribes from Qatar.

The European Parliament on Tuesday ousted a lawmaker arrested over the weekend in an investigation into Qatar’s alleged bribery.
“The European Parliament decided on Tuesday to end the term of Vice President Eva Kaili,” the parliament, the EU’s only directly elected organization, said in a statement.
Eva Kaili, from Greece, has been a member of the European Parliament since 2014.
