Eubank Jr vs Benn proves its importance by selling out in record time

Chris Eubank Jr will hit his lowest weight to date as a pro when he meets Conor Benn – but he’ll do so in front of a sold-out crowd.

The two sons of the British legend, Chris Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn, will compete to protect the family legacy on October 8.

The O2 Arena in London will host the intriguing clash, set at 157 poundsand it will be streamed exclusively on DAZN worldwide and DAZN Pay-Per-View in the UK and Ireland.

The price for the pay-per-view has yet to be revealed by the broadcaster, but ticket prices to witness the match live were not enough to prevent the event from selling out in record time.

Considering the prices – £1,250 for VIP, £500 for ringside and £40 for a cheap seat, with other services in between – this is a pretty good deal, with reports suggesting it takes just 47 minutes for the entire allocation to be summed up by the public wanting to see the rebirth of a competition that has been dormant for 29 years – minus one day.
