While everyone was talking, the nauseam ad about the return of the micro miniskirt—hello, Sydney Sweeney–Emily Ratajkowski just launched another comeback trend that is arguably a lot easier to wear: the pole maxi skirt. Like many other trends, this one was not left behind in the 90s and early 2000s and returns with a vengeance in 2022.
Of course, Ratajkowski chose a low-rise version to wear with a crop top to show off her pregnant belly, but definitely no need to try on. EmRata wore a Paloma Wool graphic tank, a tight pink Maison Cleo dress, and Salomon sneakers on a rainy New York City day, and I was obsessed with her entire outfit.
