Chrysler CEO Christine Feuell recently gave us some insight into what the electric era means for the automaker — including a pickup truck. The segment that was once a mainstay for American homes will once again take its place in innovation in the product line and now rethink the Chrysler pickup truck for the electric era—With a new interpretation of the flexible Stow ‘N Go seat is likely to be part of it.
The Subaru Solterra EV starts at a higher price than its Toyota BZ4X brother, based on full pricing confirmed by Subaru on Monday. The Solterra will only be offered with all-wheel drive, and that version itself costs a bit more than the BZ4X. The Subaru, on the other hand, will be offered in all 50 states, and buyers will be able to claim the full $7,500 EV tax credit without worrying about a pending batch.
And GM yesterday confirmed a long rumored project in development: a Chevrolet Corvette sports car fully electric. The Corvette EV, whatever it may be called, will be ahead of a hybrid Corvette that is likely to launch next year. Reuss pointed to the electric Corvette on the morning of the same day the company made some bragging points about it heat pump systems in all upcoming EVs—So expect some energy innovation from this king of American sports cars. .
