Ever wanted to do a quick photo editing job on the go and without a computer? Well, now you can with a new browser-based photo editor called Edit photo. Leaving aside how impressive it is that someone managed to get hold of the “edit.photo” domain, this new tool is surprisingly flexible and intuitive, and thankfully, you don’t get hacked by hackers. ads and pop-ups, requests to create an account, cookie issues, or any other annoyance.
Edit.Photo is built on pinturaa Javascript image editor SDK developed by a Dutch company called PQINA develop “highly polished web components.” The app, which works on both desktop and mobile browsers, provides all the basic editing tools you need, including the ability to adjust brightness, contrast, saturation harmony, exposure, color temperature, clarity, and more. You can also crop and rotate, resize, texture, and add frames. All the magic happens inside your browser, and when done, you can export to your smartphone, tablet or laptop. One note: You are limited to JPEG or PNG files, as there is no support for RAW formats.
