Third-party video game giant Electronic Arts – known for brands like Battlefield, Need for Speed and FIFA – has announced that it will be skipping its regular ‘EA Play Live’ event. year this year.
In a statement provided to IGN, an EA representative said the company will reveal its next projects when “the time is right”:
“We love EA Play Live because it’s our way of connecting with players and sharing what’s new with you all. EA originally started the ‘Live Stream’ format in 2016 and when the pandemic hit, it was turned into a stream with a bunch of spotlight events. Last year’s streamed games included games like GRID, Apex Legends, Lost in Random, Battlefield, and even Deadspace.
