To support the people of Ukraine and the humanitarian efforts of the Red Cross and the United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund, I am issuing a new DOOM II grant for a donation of €5. 100% of the proceeds are reserved for these agents. Its pretty easy and cheap to get a copy of Doom 2, along with its predecessor, these days. And now you can stream new content to it while helping with humanitarian aid when needed.
Many game developers and publishers have call for support and make statements about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. From raising money from game sales to making donations, many people have supported the citizens of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, others have pulled their content out of Russia. EA Sports deleted Russian national teams and clubs from its two games, echoing decisions made by their real-life counterparts. And CD Projekt, the group that publishes CD Projekt Red games like Cyberpunk 2077 and also own the GOG digital game platform, announced that will stop selling digital and physical in Russia and Belarus to call attention to the invasion of Ukraine.
