According to court documents, the FBI recovered more than 20 boxes of items – some labeled top secret – during a search of Donald Trump’s Florida mansion.
Details from a now-sealed subpoena showing several items related to defense information.
The subpoena said the investigation involved an alleged violation of the Espionage Act.
A cover of photographs and a handwritten note were among the items seized, along with a potential presidential profile.
Of the 20 discarded boxes, there were 11 sets of classified documents.
According to Fox News, a set marked as “multiple classified documents/TS/SCI” deals with sensitive and top-secret information.
The FBI searched Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida earlier this weekwith the former president claiming his home was “raided” and “under siege” and agents breaking the safe.
