Zeke has spent most of his life in a shelter and is still looking for a home to call his own.
The combination of martial arts and shepherds made by The Noah Center in Stanwood, WA when he was just a puppy. Now, at one year and four months old, the puppy has spent more than a year in the shelter and still has not found a family of its own.
Sadly, Zeke and The Noah Shelter were given false hope when a family selected him for adoption in October. After just a few weeks at their home, Zeke was taken back to a shelter for his family. said they couldn’t really care for him as they promised.
So Zeke was back to square one. Shelter shared the news on Instagram, said, “Have you met Zeke? This handsome guy has returned to the NOAH Center for one more chance of finding his permanent home! He was recently returned to us after the The person who adopted him went through a hard time. This guy is a sweet, lovable, likable guy with the cutest smirk. Come see him today!”
On Zeke’s adoption page, he is described as energetic and playful. He needs to work on his manners and will do best in a house with no small children, no cats, and no small dogs. He also needs a family that can take the time to train him because he has a lot of energy and needs a place to put it!
No dog has to spend their entire life in a shelter, but it’s good that Zeke went to the Noah Center. They are committed to finding homes for adoptable, trainable pets, rather than pacifying them when things get tough.
While Zeke is a beautiful dog with a loving heart, some people just can’t get over its high energy levels and distorted smile. However, for the right home, it’s the things his family will see and love.
