Delusional Injury Update: Latest Aaron Jones, Baker Mayfield, Dallas Goedert news, impact on week 11 exemption rope

Aaron Jones, Baker Mayfield and Dallas Goedert were among the most notable injury players last week. It’s been a mostly light week when it comes to new injuries, but we’ve seen Jones and Goedert try to stay in their place in the past. Mayfield will have a favorable match coming up, so his status will affect Week 11 fantasy rankings and exemptions. Get the latest injury updates so you’re ready to start a new week.

WEEK 11: Get free max

Aaron Jones Injury Update

Initial reports said that Jones sprained his MCL in the game against Seattle, but he will undergo further testing earlier this week. If that’s the case, he won’t have to be out for a huge amount of time, but he could certainly miss Week 11 against Minnesota. Not much else to say here, but keep an eye out.

If he’s out, AJ Dillon is likely to take on a dark horse role. Minnesota talks about an average team of the league against RB, but given the scarcity in RB right now, and supposedly large volumes, our ranking Dillon RB15 in standard and RB16 in PPR.

RANKING STANDARD WEEK 11:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker

Baker Mayfield injury update

Mayfield (knee) left the game against the Patriots, but early signs suggest it is a minor injury. The Browns are being crushed, so they have the ability to organize Mayfield just in case. We’ll see if something changes by the end of the week. The Keenum case will begin for Cleveland if Mayfield is unable to go.

Before Mayfield’s injury, we identified him as a streaming pick against Detroit. However, if he is eliminated, there is no guarantee Mayfield will be effective in this match. That said, he’s a low-end streaming pick and best suited for superflex/two-QB tournaments. He is ours QB16 in week 11.

WEEK 11 PPR ASSESSMENT:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker

Dallas Goedert injury update

Goedert (concussion) will have to clear concussion protocols before being allowed to play against New Orleans in Week 11. As usual, we won’t speculate but just wait and see over the weekend.

If he can play, his rating is TE12 as standard and TE13 in PPR . tournaments. New Orleans is the fourth best defense against imaginary TEs, so his road to success is tough. If he can’t go, Jack Stoll will start off pretty tight-lipped, but we don’t tout him as a good option by comparison.
