Is the color of the sky blue, or does it depend on how it reflects? Light, a variable force, is discerned from the way it reflects, refracts, and absorbs. The sparkle of the diamond through this light makes it all the more splendid. Inspired by this natural elemental magic, De Beers jewelers crafted the Alchemist of LightThe brand’s latest High Jewelery collection.

Designed in London and crafted in the company’s Paris workshop, this collection includes 45 unusual pieces divided into seven chapters. The first two chapters, Atomique and Light Rays, were presented at Haute Couture Week in Paris; The next chapter is slated for Paris Haute Couture Week in July. “Our new The Alchemist of Light High Jewelery collection represents the pinnacle of diamond expertise and art,” said Céline Assimon, CEO of De Beers Jewelers.

Atomique, the first chapter has seven incredible pieces that explain the molecular structure of the diamond. Completely monochrome with distinctive white diamonds, set in 18k white gold, reflect the pristine clarity of the diamond’s prismatic makeup. The Atomique Collar necklace features an attractive molecular alignment of brilliant round diamonds, displaying an exceptionally flawless 18.57 carat diamond at its center. Its sculptural shape is bomb-shaped, giving it a contemporary feel, with 1,907 diamonds.

This set also includes a showcase ring with a stunning 11.03 carat round, exceptional diamond from our Nature Art collection and a double opening ring. Two contrasting textures seem to hover like satellites. The crystal pattern of a diamond inspires ring earrings, each consisting of two diverging but interconnected circles. The Atomique necklace, a portrait of contemporary versatility – a line of delicately set supple diamonds, hangs on a diamond-set choker that can be removed and attached to an earring.

Rays of Light De Beers interprets the sun’s rays radiating across the sky in the second chapter of nine beautiful works. The warm-toned diamonds are amplified by luminous titanium shaped in fan-shaped motifs. This kit uses anodisation – an electrochemical process that produces different warm shades of titanium; Once its colors are soaked in lye, an electric current flows. Given that the color develops as a natural reaction, the result is hypoallergenic and 100% biocompatible with the skin. At the heart of the Spectacular Beam, the Collar Necklace is a fancy 4.22-carat yellow-brown radiation-cut diamond, amplified by metallic rays in anodized titanium and black rhodium-plated gold and diamonds. tapered white diamond seam. The striking black collar can be removed for a more minimalist look.

The Light Rays set also includes an elegant tassel pendant that is removable and can be used as a glamorous handbag; a jacket ring studded with a fancy vivid 1.08 carat vivid orange-yellow square-cut emerald diamond, connected to spread across the finger, removable Rays of Light for a twist three-way changer; and a gorgeous ear cuff featuring a 1 carat fancy dark brown light-cut diamond, from which the titanium bands wind towards the shoulders.
