Our guest on Episode 46 of the Rider Magazine Insider Podcast is Dave Scott, an old friend of host Greg Drevenstedt. This episode was recorded while RiderOur editorial team is in the final week of production for the November 2022 issue – our first adventure-themed edition. Scott was the inspiration for this issue. In the summer of 2020, during a record hurricane season that has stormed the Southeast and as we are still in the early months of the Covid-19 pandemic, Scott has taken a solo journey across the country. The TransAmerica . Trail, a route of mostly terrain that extends from coast to coast. He wrote a story about his adventure, and it fits very well with other features in the November issue of the Trans-Canada Adventure Trail, the Trans-Euro Trail, and the White Belt Trail in National Parks. We had a free, uncensored conversation for almost an hour, but we only made it to the Mississippi River on Scott’s east-west cruise.
