People who have lined up for hours to get their Covid-19 vaccine said they are doing it to protect friends and family.
It comes after the prime minister said the shots would be made available to all adults by the end of the year amid a surge in cases of the Omicron variant.
A long line of people was seen outside the Melbourne Pharmacy in Chelmsford, Essex, with some queuing for more than four hours.
One woman said: “It’s important to protect my friends and family. Christmas is coming, you’re going to see more people and you just want to make sure everyone is as safe as possible.”
