Dear construction workers, I’m excited to announce today that the most immersive Construction Simulator experience to date, featuring officially licensed construction machines on two open world maps and Cooperative multiplayer for up to 4 players, will arrive on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on September 20, 2022.
Construction Simulator series, developed by Weltenbauer. always revolves around depicting the authentic experience of a construction worker, controlling impressive machinery and facing challenges at giant construction sites. And thanks to completely revamped modern graphics, day and night cycles, and enhanced earth motion physics, the game will feel more realistic and immersive this time around.
Thanks to the PlayStation 5’s DualSense wireless controller, you’ll feel the different terrains when driving with a dump truck or tracking it through the ground, asphalt, tunnels and more. This will help you learn to maneuver your heavy machines more accurately and efficiently.
Pay attention to bumpy roads and curbs on your way to the next construction site as you will experience every inch of the uneven ground, reminding you to drive carefully and always treat your machinery respectfully.
If you borrow a construction machine for your job, you may find yourself having to speed things up to avoid spending too much money on rental fees. But by driving too fast into the bends, you will drift and you will find that you are slowly losing control of your vehicle because the controller’s trigger becomes sluggish.
Stay tuned for two new open world maps set in the US and in Europe. Each setting comes with its own expansive campaign to master alone or in multiplayer with your friends. Of course, players on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 will be able to join forces and work on building contracts together.
On a map of Europe called Friedenberg, inspired by the idyllic cities of Southwestern Germany, you work on renewable energy solutions and improve the city’s infrastructure, while a One of your missions in Sunny Haven in the US will focus on renovating the harbor area to attract more tourists to help the struggling inner city area recover.
In addition to known licensing partners from previous installments such as Caterpillar, CASE, BELL and Liebherr, Construction Simulator adds a host of new well-known construction brands such as Doosan, Cifa, DAF and even Engelbert Strauss for the first time. First customize your workwear ever in the series. With more than 70 licensed vehicles, machines and workwear, the game is sure to make every virtual construction worker feel lifelike.
Stay tuned for more announcements on our release path. See you all on the field!
