Conor Benn wants Ramirez to fight, say listen
The next test for Conor Benn may come against former rival Josh Taylor.
Jose Ramirez, who fought the Scots for the undisputed lightweight championship a year ago, moving into Benn’s weight class at 147lbs and interested in facing the undefeated contender.
A month after the battle with Taylor, Ramirez told journalist Dan Rafael, “You can see a better Ramirez at 147.”

Ramirez, a former WBC and WBO lightweight world champion belt holder, had only one loss in a record 28 fights to Taylor in Las Vegas. Since then, 29 years old beat Jose Pedraza more than 12 rounds in March.
Benn is ranked in the top 5 of all four regulators and destroyed Chris van Heerden only in the last two rounds.
