Commonwealth Games 2022, Day 3 Live: India tally of medals, Jeremy wins Gold after Mirabai, India enters TT men’s semi-finals, update

Naman Kapil was 11th in Heat 1 and couldn’t make it to the final

Vishavjeet is 6th in his heart and qualified for the final, which takes place at 11:12 tonight.

TENNIS TABLE MEN’S QUARTERFINALS-


  • Pair (G Sathiyan and Harmeet Desai vs R Bawm and M. Ridoy) – India leads in quarterfinals vs Bangladesh 3-0 (11-8, 11-6, 11-2). managed to win the first game and take the first step into the semi-finals.

  • Single person (Sharath Kamal and M Sabbir) – Sharath won the first set 11-4. He also won the next set with relative ease, beating Sabbir 3-0 (11-4, 11-7, 11-2).

  • Single person (Sathiyan and Mohutasin Ahmed Ridoy) Sathiyan dominated the competition as he won 3-0 (11-2, 11-3, 11-5). AND REVIEW OF INDIA FOR SEMIS! SUPPORT OF NIGERIA IN SEMIS.

BOXING- Men’s Lightweight Round 16 – Shiva Thapa vs Reese Lynch


  • Round 1- Thapa delivers accurate backhand punches. Lynch fell when Thapa hit hard. Thapa got five 10s, Lynch got five nines.

  • Round 2– Shiva defends in the second round when Lynch becomes aggressive. The last 10 seconds show that Thapa is attacking extremely strongly. Thapa got four nines and a 10, Lynch got four 10s and a nine.

  • Round 3– Both are very aggressive, but Thapa needs to be playful to win the third round. The Indians shot back. LYNCH WINS THE DECIDED PLAY 4-1.

FIRST LIGHT FLAVOR 16 Nikhat Zareen vs Helena Ismael Bagao


  • Round 1- Nikhat Zareen in the red corner. The match started when Nikhat began to attack relentlessly. She pushed his opposite into the corner. NIKHIT WINS FIRST TIME WITH FIVE JUDGES 10 HOURS, WHILE HELENA GET FOUR FOUR AND ONE NINE.

  • Round 2- Helena tried to close the distance between the two. Nikhat used both hands to corner Helena. NIKHIT WINS THE SECOND ROUND WITH FIVE POINT JUDGES FOR 10 HOURS, WHILE HELENA GETS FIVE FIGHT.

  • Round 3 Nikhat defended herself easily as she moved out of Bagao’s way. The referee counted to 10, but Bagao did not give up. In the end, Nikhat didn’t let his chance slip away and won a point by Knock Down.

Grass bowl-After three ENDS, India leads 4-2 in men’s doubles. India have two more points from four ENDS as they lead 6-2.

SWIMMING- Sajan Prakash defeated Kieren Pollard in the 200m butterfly and will be the first substitute for the final.

Bowl-England leads India 1-0 after ENDING 1 men’s doubles event.

Exercise- Yogeshwar was 15th with 74,700 points as Britain’s Jake Jarman took gold in the men’s all-around final.

BALANCE BALANCE: Jeremy won his second gold medal for India as he lifted 140kg in the jerk and 160kg in the jerk, setting a new game record!

Cycling- Ronaldo passed the final round of 1/8 men’s sprint with a time of 10,012 .

Grass bowl- Tania Choudhury beat Shauna O’Neill 21-12 in 19 ENDS. She failed to qualify for the quarterfinals after losing the first two matches.

Weightlifting- Jeremy Lalrinnunga lifted 136kg in the first jerk, 140kg in the second. However, he failed to lift 146 kg on the third attempt, but still surpassed the Olympic record in the first two attempts.

Exercise– Yogeshwar scored 12,050 in his third round in parallel bars.

Exercise– Yogeshwar scored 13,200 in his second inning with the pommel horse. The difficulty level is 4.8 and the execution is 8,400.

Bowl-Tania leads 17-8 against Shauna after 15 ENDS

Exercise- Yogeshwar Singh finished his first round in the ring and scored 12,350 with a performance of 8,150 and a difficulty of 4,200.
