CNN fired Chris Cuomo after revealing details of the journalist’s role in advising his brother, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, to face sexual harassment allegations.
“Chris Cuomo was suspended earlier this week pending a further review of the new information that came to light about his involvement with his brother’s defense,” read one. statement from cable news network, announced the news on Saturday. “We hired a reputable law firm to conduct our review and have terminated his contract with immediate effect. During the review, additional information will come to light. . Notwithstanding contract termination, we will investigate as appropriate.”
