Former San Luis Obispo mayor and climate change activist Heidi Harmon tried to “do the right thing” and traveled to a rally in San Francisco in an electric car. After repeatedly trying to find a working charging station in San Jose, Harmon realized that charging the car would take up to seven hours and there was no way she could make the demonstration.

I love this story, as it provides a microcosm of why green tries to waste so much of your money.
“We need some teams to help with the transition.”
If Harmon hadn’t been such a dark green, it might have come to realize that her experience is clear proof that electric cars are useless.
But the green belief system doesn’t seem to allow such thinking.
The Greens start from the assumption that their vision is inevitable. Then they try to work backwards, to figure out how much of your money they need to throw in the bottomless pit, to fund all the “conversion support groups” and other useless green props which they hope will help push society towards a vision of a green nirvana.
Even if their green vision is an economic and technical impossibility, they don’t hesitate to spend your money, because their belief system doesn’t allow them to accept such negativity . So they just keep spending and spending, until someone cancels out your ability to rob you of your future financial security.
