Chris Pratt Watched Super Mario Trailer, Called Him “Blown Away”
Illumination has now closed the Comic-Con “first trailer premiere” of the upcoming Super Mario Bros. movie on October 6.
If you’re worried, there’s obviously nothing to worry about according to Hollywood actor Chris Pratt – who will voice Mario in the film. In a brief message via social media, Chris said he had just seen the trailer for himself and was “simply blown away”. He went on to promise Mario fans he would do the same.
Chris Pratt – “I just watched the teaser trailer for the first time. I was simply blown away. You will too, I promise you. This is VERY special. Can’t wait!!! #SuperMarioBrosMovie!!!
Chris has previously exaggerated his Mario voice – refers to how it is “updated” and “unlike anything” that fans have heard in the Mario world before.
Once again, this teaser trailer will air exclusively to attendees of New York Comic Con on October 6 at 4 p.m. EST. In addition to Pratt, other cast members include Charlie Day (Pacific rim) as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy (Queen’s Gambit) as Princess Peach, Jack Black (The school of rock music) as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key (Toy Story 4) as Toad and Seth Rogan (Pineapple Express) as Donkey Kong.
