Shannon’s thoughts on Wentz: “The biggest question mark for Wentz is his leadership. Because there have been two dressing rooms, his leadership skills and the way he interacts with teammates has been questioned.”
Sharpe continued:
“I’ve never heard of an owner [Indianapolis Colts] say this openly and one-sidedly, and disparage his midfielder, ever. So that tells me it’s more than just possibility, because I believe he’s capable, and his numbers aren’t bad! Maybe it’s just that he needs a change of scenery. “
After discussing Wentz, Sharpe explained why he had Hurts third on the team.
Sharpe said: “Jalen Hurts has a better weapon now. “I love AJ Brown. I love DeVonta Smith. I love the pieces they have. Hurts is a great leader, but he still struggles with accuracy. He still struggles with full swings too much on the ball. “
