Saturday’s Premiere Boxing Champions Showtime card kicks off with Kevin Salgado 14-0 facing Bryant Perrella 17-3-1 in a scheduled 10-round kids middleweight bout. The 24-year-old Salgado is looking to continue with his wins while Perrella 17-3-1 is hoping to impress after previously battling Tony Harrison for a draw.

Selgado had a productive first game thanks to his impressive dash. In the second round, however, Perrella kept his man on a rampage in a unique way, saving some powerful body blows from Selgado. Perrella put his shot to good use in the third round, using it to his full potential. Selgado seemed to have a hard time taking on Perrella in the fourth round. Perrella beat Selgado with a cut on the left in the fifth section. Perrella then continued hunting for the remainder of the round.

The sixth match saw Selgado become more aggressive. The seventh match was a chess match, with Selgado probably overtaking it. Every man fought cautiously in season eight. Perrella regularly lands his right jab in the ninth, although Selgado pulls in a beautiful combination in the final seconds of the chapter. While the match couldn’t be called action, the tempo was fast in the 10th and final round, with each man expending a significant amount of energy. The last match was judged to be a draw.
