The designs I chose for us are what I think we will find on the table like macarons, cakes and flowers. I also had to include the paper and the silhouette of the queen.

All cookies in this post are cut by hand. I searched for an image, printed it out, and used it as a template to cut around the cookie dough. Let’s begin!

Step 1. Sketch your macaron cookies.

Cookie

Step 1. Sketch and flood your cookies and let dry.

Step 2. Add text to your cookie. You can learn how to do this in my post, 3 ways to add letters to sugar cookies. I went with Bridgerton quotes.

Freeze cookies with text "Shall we go for a walk?"

Step 3. Use star head, create a border around the cookie. I put the pointed end against the cookie at a 45 degree angle. Use strong pressure to get a larger sole, then reduce gradually.

Flower cookies

Step 1. You’ll want to add some powdered sugar to freeze the contour’s consistency because we want it to hold its shape a bit better.

Step 2. Work directly on cookies, use tip # 103 to make the base for the flower on the cookie as shown.

Add icing to cookies

Step 3. With the wide end of the tip down, wrap the tape around the base (this is your bud).

Make a flower shape on the cookie

Step 4. Wrap the tape around your bud (about 3 petals), then add 5 petals or the amount needed to wrap around the flower.

Step 5. If you want to add leaves, cut the top of your icing bag in an av shape. Like the shell tip technique, create pressure and reduce taper.
