Some dogs have a natural nurturing side and they just want to care for the people around them. Especially sweet when they have the opportunity to cuddle and care for and help others.
For a gaur named Bamse, at first he wasn’t sure what to think about taking care of other animals. Its owner, artist Dani Karlsson, regularly brings new rescue animals into the home to foster and Bamse appears timid and insecure.
However, he soon realized that he loved taking care of domestic animals and before long he was taking care of all the rescues his mother brought home.
It all started with a puppy with a fifth leg. Karlsson shared in a TikTok that she was very careful about getting Bamse around the puppy at first because she wasn’t sure how he would react.
Before she adopted him, he was a backyard dog and had no experience around other animals.
Karlsson carefully introduced Bamse to the young pup, and within a day the giant pit bull was “completely knocked out”.
Since then, Bamse has welcomed “every little orphan who enters this home with love and affection – and patience.”
