Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes ordered the military to dismantle all Bolsonaro supporters’ camps across the country within 24 hours and ordered police to arrest any remaining protesters. on the street, by order of the court.

At least 400 people were arrested after supporters of former Brazilian leader Jair Bolsonaro stormed key government buildings in Brasilia on Sunday, according to Brazilian authorities. Bolsonaro supporters have camped in the capital since his defeat in the presidential election in October.

Moraes said the commanders of the armed forces, the police and the defense minister would be held accountable in court if the camps were not lifted, adding that all highways in the country must open on Monday.
