A boy in Serbia was caught on camera holding a pair of stray dogs and it is warming people’s hearts around the world.
The video shared by u/zperic1 on Reddit shows the boy cuddling two street dogs. He addresses the need to pet the dogs and give them a hug before turning away.
However, the boy did not go very far before turning back. Looks like he can’t leave without holding his kids one more time!
The sweet video has gone viral on TikTok, with many commenting on how gratifying it is to see a boy with a heart for an animal.

According to a OIE Platform ReportWild dogs in Serbia are a growing problem, with their numbers continuing to increase each year. The report states that “The Republic of Serbia has no strategy to deal with this problem at the national level”.
With so many stray dogs, European Canine and Animal Welfare Association states that these animals are often subjected to brutal treatment, including unorganized matches and torture for sport. In the Republic of Serbia, dogs and cats are inhumanely captured and killed, they say, in the authorities’ never-ending efforts to control stray animal populations in towns and cities.
According to ESDAW, even children are involved in cruelty to stray dogs in Serbia, with the local non-profit organization Humanities Balkins says that many Serbs see wild dogs as nothing more than worms.
In a country where street dogs are scorned, it’s refreshing to see a boy with a heart that loves animals.
