Betty White, a lifelong animal lover and legendary actress, was due to turn 100 on January 17. Sadly, she passed away on December 31 of a stroke.
She has dedicated her life to helping animals and making people laugh. Most people remember her as Rose from Golden Girls, but she will always be remembered as a friend and hero to animals.
Her fans decided to celebrate her important birthday by giving back animals with Betty White Challenge. The challenge encourages people to donate $5 in Betty’s name to a local animal rescue. She would be very proud.
Over the years, she has openly shared her passion for animals. She loves dogs and has had 26 in her lifetime, but she loves all animals and dedicates much of her time and money to helping improve their lives.
She has a larger than life personality and lives every moment to the fullest.
