Betty. Chihuahua on Will Trent

When I saw the commercial for Will Trent’s new TV show, I was so excited for the Chihuahua he was hugging. Dog + mystery + drama = good in my opinion. However, when I realized it was the Will Trent’s The Will Trent book series by Karin Slaughter, I became apprehensive. I’m not one to turn my favorite books into movies or TV series because the results are often disappointing.

I watched the first episode and I loved it – especially Betty the Chihuahua. Betty the dog was introduced in Will Trent’s first book, triangle. If you’re a big dog lover and can’t wait to read this series to know more about Betty, let me warn you: There’s not much Betty in the series. Honestly, I even forgot that he has a Chihuahua, and I am a total dog lover. This is because the books focus on Will and investigations, which can be shocking and not so much when he’s at home with Betty. Will is an agent of the Bureau of Investigation, investigating the worst of the worst, and he’s quite intriguing himself – growing up in a foster home where he was horribly abused. fear, dyslexia, and the ability to notice things that others don’t. .

I absolutely love the TV series that covers Betty. You are introduced to the adorable Chihuahua right at the start of the Pilot. In Episode 2, Betty steals quite a few scenes at the end of the episode – her cuteness becomes overwhelming as she watches Will paint the ceiling. Dog lovers need to remember that Will is not a dog lover and doesn’t know anything about dogs and isn’t even good at human-to-human relations, so you have to give him a bit of a break. I hope the dog walker we meet in episode 2 I’m a pretty observant guy become an ordinary character.

If you’re a fan of the series, there’s a lot of difference, especially with the character Angie Polaski. However, author Karin Slaughter told reporters that “the book is the book and the program is the program” when asked about these deviations from the book. It’s been years since I read the first book, so I went back and read it trianglepublished in 2006. Will and the other characters in the series changed a lot from book 1 to the latest book, The Silent Wife, and I forgot how it was at the beginning of the TV series to begin with. Karin Slaughter believes in complicated characters.

Please note that Karin Slaughter’s Grant County series, which focuses on Sara Linton and Lena Adams, who later appear in Will Trent’s books and which I believe will be added to the television series, begins with blind, published in 2001. You don’t have to read those books first, but you might want to avoid spoilers. Sara is a dog lover and has several dogs, so I hope they join the cast as well.
