Dogster caught up with their human, Sam Carrell, and the paparazzi asked her questions about the fab duo.
Dogster: Tell us more about these picturesque Papitese puppies!
Sam: Tinkerbelle The Dog is a 10-year-old diva who weighs 5 pounds. She is sassy, judgmental, loves fashion and her role model is Anna Wintour. Belle The Dog is a 1-year-old mischievous puppy that weighs 4 pounds. Belle loves to play fetch and loves to tease her older sister Tinkerbelle. Belle loves acting and modeling.
Dogster: How did you all find each other and start their modeling careers?
Sam: I adopted Tinkerbelle The Dog from a local shelter when I was 9 months old. During our daily walks around New York City, a talent agent approached me asking if he could represent Tinkerbelle. From there, Tinkerbelle applied for her first modeling/actor job at the age of 1 and a half for a Ralph Lauren campaign. Tinkerbelle appeared in all the high fashion magazines for the campaign. She is now a successful actress and model, and Tinkerbelle’s background includes national advertising, national print advertising, television and theater.
Belle The Dog was given to me by one of Tinkerbelle’s social media followers. Since Day One, the two puppies have become close. Belle immediately followed in Tinkerbelle’s famous footsteps and signed up for her first ad at just 4 months old!
Belle got into acting and modeling when Tinkerbelle’s rep also asked her to apply. At the age of 1, Belle was featured in a national press, national print advertisement and SNL! Trained as “petfluencers,” Tinkerbelle and Belle have become social in their own right by sitting in the front row at NYFW, attending the hottest premieres and socializing with celebrities at the NYFW. entertainment parties.
Dogster: What do Tinkerbelle and Belle do in their spare time as dog influencers?
Sam: Tinkerbelle’s favorite thing outside of acting is sleeping. After a full day of playing with her older sister, Belle, she loves to sleep near her toys. Tinkerbelle favorites are Taylor Swift, Lizzo, and Ariana Grande. Each of them met her. Tinkerbelle prefers humans to dogs but has worked extremely well on set with other animals. Tinkerbelle’s joy is work and travel. She is always excited and happy when traveling to many places and walking around luxury hotels.
Belle’s favorite thing outside of acting is playing. Belle loves meeting other celebrities, but her favorite is me! Belle enjoys eating, working, and going on amazing travel adventures with Tinkerbelle.
Dogster: Do Tinkerbelle and Belle have any “superpowers”?
Sam: Tinkerbelle’s superpower is her way of attracting celebrities to come and meet her. She has a personality that people can recognize from across the room. Her aura was an inexplicable magic and everyone immediately fell in love with her.
Belle’s superpower is being able to perform required tasks on set less than once or twice. This is very unusual for a puppy, and it is the secret to her success.
Dogster: Can you share any of Papitese’s dog training secrets or grooming tips with our readers?
Sam: Both puppies are brushed every three weeks. The secret to keeping them looking nice and soft is to bathe them in between brushings. This helps them look clean in case of any emergencies.
Tinkerbelle and Belle are not professionally trained, but if you met them, you would think differently. The secret is how well the baby mouse and I communicate with each other. They do whatever I ask, and it’s a very special relationship. I taught them to play dead, roll over, bark on cues, sit, stay, lie down, sleep and more. I also taught them how to sit on the red carpet and take pictures for photographers.
Dogster: What remains on their team list?
Sam: Be the star of their own TV series, walk in Paris Fashion Week and travel to many countries together like Spain and Greece.
Dogster: Do you and the baby mice have a mission?
Sam: Tinkerbelle and Belle’s daily mission is to make everyone happy. Through their social media platforms, they strive to deliver content that puts a smile on people’s faces. It’s been rewarding for me to read the great comments and positive messages they receive from fans about how the pups are the highlight of their day.
Their long-term goal is to become internationally known baby mice. They want to continue acting, modeling and meeting amazing people along the way. Ultimately, they want to open a rescue fund on their behalf so others can help and adopt pets from around the world.
