Austrian Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg told the BBC he was sorry that Austria had to make Covid-19 vaccination a legal requirement, but that current low vaccination rates were “too little, too late”.
He told Bethany Bell: “Nobody wants a situation where you don’t have access to a bed in the intensive care unit because the bed is packed with people who haven’t been vaccinated and have Covid-19.
