My point is, Australia asking everyone else to pay for the renewable energy transition is absurd, while Australia is sitting on such a huge profit from coal exports.

I want all that money to be kept and spent in Australia on useful things, such as dam reclamation projects to prevent a repeat of the devastating floods that affected New South Wales this year. New South Wales is our most populous state.

But if anyone is going to pay for the global green energy transition, it has to be a country with talkative politicians who are making huge profits from coal exports.
