Round 3 ASBK 2022 – Wakefield Park
The Australian Mi-bike Racing Championship organized by Motul (ASBK) has announced that the Battery World Aussie Super Series Aussie Race will take part in the ASBK Championship at Wakefield Park as part of Round 3 on the weekend of April 24.
The ever-popular Aussie Racing Cars line-up has had a long association with motorcycles since its inception in 1996, when the first Aussie Racing Car came out, powered by a Yamaha motorcycle engine.
As with the car’s roots, Aussie Racing Cars has engaged many times with ASBK over the years, bringing the thrills of the agile and exciting genre to fans of ASBK racing.

“We are delighted to be participating in the Australian Motor Racing Championship as part of our return to Wakefield Park for round 3 of our 2022 Super Series. 2008 was the last time this category hosted a series of events at the circuit and therefore all our drivers and teams were eager to return to the venue. Wakefield Park is a great little track for our little cars and over the years has produced some of the most exciting races ever in the catalog and I can’t wait to see the ARCs on the road race at Wakefield. No less excited to once again participate in the Australian Superbike Championship. The category has competed with Australia’s premier motor championships in Darwin and Sydney over the years and we found the combination of ARC and ASBK to be a great way to showcase two race championships. this great. Round 3 of the Australian Motor Racing Championships hosted by Motul (ASBK) 2022 begins with practice day on Friday, April 22 with select racing and qualifying categories on Saturday 23, then the main race day, Sunday 24 April 2022.
