Audi changes naming strategy – even numbers for EV models, odd numbers for internal combustion engines
Audi will revise its model naming strategy to more clearly reflect the distinction between battery-powered and internal-combustion-powered models. Motorcycle Authority reported.
Audi CEO Markus Duesmann said during the presentation of the brand’s 2022 financial results, the revised format will see even-numbered model designations used for the brand’s electric vehicles, while odd numbered model symbols shall be used for internal combustion engine powered models.
