Atlanta news anchor Jovita Moore dies months after brain cancer diagnosis

Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and her husband are “deeply saddened by the lack of our pal,” the mayor stated in an announcement. “Even those that didn’t know her personally felt a deep and private connection to Jovita. She beloved Atlanta dearly.
“Could her stunning spirit soar. Jovita might be actually missed.”
Moore is survived by her mom and two kids.
