Ashley Park recreates Taylor Swift’s denim corset style

Ashley Park is the resident pop star of Emily in Paris universe—and here in the real world, it looks like she’s taking style inspiration from one of today’s biggest pop stars. That’s right, Park just recreated Taylor Swift’s look—with her own twist, of course.

Stepping out in New York City before appearing on Good Morning AmericaPark wore a bold three-layer denim Canadian tuxedo. The highlight of the outfit was Medusa ’95 Denim Corset by Versace—the exact same shirt Swift wore just two weeks ago when she attended the first game of the NFL seasonWhile Swift wore her denim corset with a pair of tiny denim shorts and tall red-brown boots, Park opted for a more understated denim look, pairing the top with matching denim pieces from Versace: Medusa ’95 Boyfriend Jeans and Oversized tailored denim jacketShe completed her look with silver heels and a black handbag, along with silver hoop earrings and a silver pendant necklace.

Denim has had a lasting moment this year, with denim jeansdenim fabric dressdenim fabric shirtand denim dress all had their moment to shine. Now, Park and Swift have added denim corsets to the list.

Park’s triple denim outfit is just the actress’s latest playful fashion moment during her time Emily in Paris press tour. For example, last week she went on a a pair of tiny shorts, a matching blazer, and a pair of yellow heels.

Park has spent much of the past year recovering from septic shock while on vacation in the Maldives with her boyfriend, paul forman (who also happens to play her on-screen boyfriend). In fact, she was a month late in starting filming season 4 of Emily in Paris. During her appearance on Good Morning America“It’s interesting to look back and see what I’ve been through,” she said, “but I think sometimes the hardest times in life when you persevere through them become the most rewarding times.”

Park’s appearance came just one day after notice that Emily in Paris will return for season five.. As Park said EverybodyShe has high hopes for her character Mindy. First and foremost, she hopes she “ends up with someone who makes her feel comfortable.” Plus, with Emily moving from Paris to Rome, Park said, “I’d be happy if she and Mindy were at least friends.”
