Arizona Cardinals QB Colt McCoy Pays Texas Tech Red Raiders-Texas Longhorns

But that’s not Kingsbury’s bet.
“No, no, I wouldn’t do that to him,” said the former Red Raiders coach. “I wouldn’t make such a bet because I’m not wearing a burnt orange suit —, I can assure you.”
The Red Raiders beat 22nd-placed Texas, 37-34, in extra time Saturday, the first time Texas Tech has beaten home state rivals since 2008.
McCoy, who played for Texas from 2005 to 2009, is the only Longhorn in the Cardinals. In addition to Kingsbury, Arizona has two other Texas Tech products: wide receiver Antoine Wesley and assistant coach Kenny Bell.
But Kingsbury did not contact McCoy, who Currently being rehab injured with a calf sprain after being upset.
“He’s injured,” Kingsbury said. “You could see his face. He looked like his dog was dead, man. I didn’t rub it.
“He’s like Mr. Texas. Like it’s a Texas man. So I’m not going to do him like that.”
