These visualizations, in 4K resolution, depict various views of the Moon’s surface, starting with the earth and sunrise and ending. with the time Apollo 13 re-established radio contact with Mission Control. Also described is the path of a free-returning orbit around the Moon and a continuous view of the Moon along the way.
