Antonio Brown: Nothing wrong with my mental health!!
Antonio Brown wants people to stop calling him crazy and saying there’s nothing mentally wrong with him.
“Everybody in the world has a different form of reaction to what happened to me,” Brown said. “And it’s all based on where you’re from, how you’re feeling, and nobody really knows,” Brown said. that doesn’t matter who you are”.
“The problem with footballers, mental health and CTE is this: These people are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve some required benefit. But between those benefits, the same with that journey, they were mistreated, a lot of things happened that could not have been handled properly.
“And then you start your career at the top. It’s like a roller coaster. You go up, and then as soon as it goes down, everyone leaves. … If all those players and all of us say we care about mental health, why every time something bad happens or someone reacts, ‘Oh, he’s crazy, something’s wrong with his mental health.’ There’s nothing wrong with my mental health. Someone said to me, ‘Get the f*ck out of here.’ I’m not passive belligerent.”
Brown still says he injured his ankle and told the team’s coaching staff and medical staff that he couldn’t play.
“A Super Bowl NFL coach told a guy on the team that was playing hurt ‘get the f*ck out of here,'” Brown added.
