A woman who attended an Atroworld concert has died. The death toll in the festival is now 9 people.
Her family’s lawyer said: “At 6:50 last night, Bharti Shahani lost the battle because of the horrific injuries she suffered at the Astroworld festival.
Houston police are conducting a criminal investigation involving homicide and drug divisions, Sheriff Troy Finner said.
On Wednesday, attorneys for Travis Scott released a new statement.

“Over the last week, Travis Scott and his team have been actively exploring routes of connection to each and every family affected by the tragedy through the appropriate liaisons,” the statement read. “He is devastated by the situation and is looking forward to his condolences and support as soon as possible, but wants to respect each family’s wishes on how they want to be best connected.”
Scott apologized for the death and offered to pay the funeral expenses for all of the family.
