Youngblood’s classic Triumph just surpassed the bike with the best plot, belonging to Marine veteran Hugh Smith. He uses his 2006 Yamaha Road Star V-Twin to help build homes for veterans with young children. Smith named his bike the “Milwaukee Packout,” as he used it as a commuter at the construction site and it was equipped with Milwaukee toolboxes and even a chainsaw. by battery in the back!

Americade director Christian Dutcher has spent $200 honoring Smith for his service and work, and Rider and American Rider magazines are sending him some pretty cool prizes.

We only had one Best Show award to hand out, but Smith’s story moved many at the event, including that of Americade chief Christian Dutcher, who generously shelled out of pocket. to give Smith $200 for a special prize.

We thank our program participants, our sponsors, and all Americade staff and volunteers for making our inaugural program such a success. We’ll be back next year, so take it!
